Why service?
If a tankless water heater is not "properly" serviced it can lead to blockages within the water inlet filter and cooling fan, it can cause a build of debris on the flame rods or a build up of debris within the manifold, and cause blockages within the venting. Lack of maintain can even lead to corrosion of the pipes within your unit which can lead to leaks and ruptures.
